Urban is on the winning team for On-Call Environmental Assessments and Impact Evaluations in Connecticut. The Team, headed by the New York-based environmental, planning and engineering firm, AKRF, Inc., will serve the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development over the next three years. Urban’s services are expected to include traffic, parking and transportation engineering; air and noise quality assessments; water quality/resource investigations; topography, soils and geology studies; floodplain evaluations; determinations of energy and construction impacts; and other engineering considerations.

Projects may include infrastructure development, development of industrial parks, renovation of industrial facilities, construction/renovation of cultural facilities, and construction/renovation of public facilities.

Urban’s services will be provided from its Hartford, Connecticut office.
