Urban to Design New Terminal at Hartford's Bradley International Airport

Bradley International Airport has been undergoing rapid passenger growth and is now the second busiest commercial airport in New England after Boston’s Logan International.

The new passenger terminal complex will be located west of the existing hotel and will be connected to an expanded Federal Inspection Services Building and concourses.

Other improvements include a new frontage road system to serve both arriving and departing passengers, an airside apron surrounding the concourses, a glycol collection system, connections to future parking garages and hotels, and other related work necessary to provide a functional facility.

Subconsultants, STV Architects, will provide assistance with the development and execution of the architectural components of the terminal and the coordination of the building systems.
