Urban Awarded GSA Cost Estimating Contract

The General Services Administration (GSA) recently selected Urban Engineers to provide cost estimating services throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region.

The GSA indicated that large variances exist between cost estimates and actual construction bid prices. A primary goal of the GSA is to capitalize on Urban’s industry knowledge and experience to establish a higher level of confidence in preparing project budgets.

Urban will provide cost estimates and cost consultation for construction and improvements at federally owned or leased property for the GSA.

Urban will provide these services primarily in the areas of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware, as well as in West Virginia, Maryland, and Virginia as needed.
