Urban Project Wins CMAA Award

The Quittapahilla Creek Pedestrian Bridge was recently honored by the Construction Management Association of America as the Transportation Project of the Year under $10 million.

The Quittie Creek Nature Park Committee received the award for the project, which consisted of constructing a 72-foot-long, glue-laminated timber pedestrian bridge with concrete abutments, approximately 185 linear feet of elevated boardwalk and railing, and some 60 linear feet of stone pathway.
