Urbanites Donate Blood

The American Red Cross Bloodmobile made its annual spring stop at Urban’s Center City headquarters. Thirty-two Urbanites answered the call and signed up to donate. According to the Red Cross, each pint of blood collected can save as many as three lives. This is the fifth year that Urban has been a regular corporate donor. Blood donations are one of many events that galvanizes the staff to contribute to community betterment. Other community activities include Food Drives, “Toys for Tots,” the United Cerebral Palsy of Philadelphia & Vicinity Corporate Run/Walk, and the Future City Competition for seventh and eighth grade students interested in the engineering profession.
