Urban Breaks Top 40 on ENR CM for Fee Rankings

The Engineering News Record’s annual ranking of the largest construction management for fee firms shows that Urban Engineers has jumped eleven places to No. 40 nationally among all firms offering such services.  Last year, Urban was ranked No. 51.

Urban was ranked No. 1 in this category among Philadelphia-based firms and No. 2 among firms based in Pennsylvania.

Firm rankings are based on 2008 revenues including revenue from program management activities.

Major projects in Urban’s 2008 construction management revenues include Program Management Oversight in the New York Metropolitan Area for the Federal Transit Administration; the New Haven Rail Yard Fueling Facility for the Connecticut Department of Transportation; and the Rehabilitation of the Collingswood Viaduct and the Painting of the Walt Whitman Bridge for the Delaware River Port Authority.
