Route 309 Improvement is Project of the Year for 2008

The American Society of Highway Engineers, Delaware Valley Section, has named the Route 309, Section 102 Improvement Project as its 2008 Project of the Year for projects over $5 million in construction. Urban is construction manager for the $91.5 million construction project in Montgomery County, Pa.

PennDOT District Executive Lester Toaso noted that, “The Department is extremely pleased with the end product and has received a considerable amount of positive feedback from the public response. All expectations on a positive impact to traffic and safety have been satisfied or exceeded.”
