Urban Supporting Local Food Banks

Urban’s offices are answering the call of local food banks to help re-stock their shelves after the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays and help prepare for Easter.

The offices are taking the challenge of competing to see which office can come up with the most food for local food banks, based on a “can to staff” ratio.

• Urban’s Philadelphia office, under the leadership of the ESOP Committee, is collecting food for Philabundance, the region’s largest hunger relief organization.
• The Buffalo office will participate in collaboration with the Food Bank of Western New York
• Our New Castle, Delaware office will contribute to Food Bank of Delaware.
• Erie, Pennsylvania will contribute to Erie Food Bank
• Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania will contribute to New Hope Ministries
• Cherry Hill, New Jersey will contribute to the Food Bank of South Jersey
• New York City will contribute to City Harvest

The food drive will run from March 4 through April 3. Drop boxes have been set up in each office and volunteers stand ready to deliver donations to the agencies.
