Urban Nets DRPA Marine Engineering Contract

The Delaware River Port Authority (DRPA) has awarded an Urban-led team a contract to provide general consulting engineering services for marine engineering and naval architecture.

The three-year agreement involves planning, design, construction, and maintenance of port-related infrastructure on a task-order basis.  Tasks may include the following:

• Master Planning
• Surveying
• Naval Architecture
• Marine Surveying
• Cruise Terminal and Ferry Operations
• Structural Inspection and Evaluation
• Structural Engineering
• Electrical and Mechanical Engineering
• Civil Engineering
• Environmental Permitting
• Dredging
• Cost Estimating and Scheduling
• Construction Inspection

According to Ahmad Nadeem, PE, Marine Practice Leader, “This contract will employ a multitude of disciplines and draw talent from throughout the company.”
