Kurtz Joins Urban


Michael Kurtz, PE, LEED® AP, a mechanical engineer and project manager, has joined the Marvin Waxman Consulting Engineers Division of Urban Engineers.

Kurtz has more than 10 years of professional experience in the industry. During his career he has designed mechanical systems for new construction and renovation projects for such clients as Philadelphia International Airport, Harrisburg International Airport, Reagan National Airport, Dulles International Airport, Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, SEPTA, Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, US Airways, Southwest Airlines, and Delta Airlines.

Kurtz graduated from Drexel University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. He is a registered professional engineer in Delaware and Pennsylvania and LEED®AP accredited.

Kurtz is a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE); Young Engineers in ASHRAE; Association of Energy Engineers; and the Engineer’s Club of Philadelphia. He has also served as a Future City Program Mentor and Judge.
