Parmiter Joins Urban

David Parmiter, PE, a mechanical engineer and project manager with more than 25 years of experience, is now a member of the Marvin Waxman Consulting Engineers Division of Urban Engineers.

A registered professional engineer in Delaware, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, Parmiter’s experience includes master plan studies and design and renovation of hospitals, laboratories, correctional institutions, college campuses, schools, industrial facilities, and high-rise commercial and residential projects. He has significant experience in developing engineering solutions for historic restorations.

Parmiter graduated from the Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Architectural Engineering. His expertise includes engineering HVAC systems, life-cycle cost analysis for HVAC systems, writing specifications, sustainable design for LEED building certification and Energy Star, client interface, multi-trade coordination, and quality control.
