Urban Makes New York Top 10

Urban Engineers of New York, P.C. (Urban of NY) finished in the Top 10 of the Best Companies to Work for in New York for 2010, the New York State Society for Human Resources Management and Best Companies Group announced at its official awards dinner.

An affiliate of Urban Engineers, Inc., Urban of NY ranked 9th in the Small/Medium category, which is for companies with 15-249 employees. The firm was the highest ranked engineering firm.

The award was determined in a two-part process that included employee surveys and a review of the firm’s policies, practices, systems, and demographics.

The award identifies, recognizes, and honors the best places of employment in New York, benefiting the state’s economy, workforce, and businesses.

Urban Engineers, Inc. recently placed 9th among large companies in Pennsylvania, in that state’s Best Places to Work competition.
