Outstanding Performance Award Winner is David R. Zangrilli


David R. Zangrilli, a construction manager in Urban’s Mechanicsburg, PA office, has been named the recipient of the 2010 Outstanding Performance Award. Nominations are solicited from throughout the company and the award is given annually to the person who is found to demonstrate one or more of the following attributes:

  • A record of significant contribution to Urban Engineers;
  • Dedication, enthusiasm and the ability to work well with others;
  • A significant achievement in the area of client satisfaction; and
  • A significant achievement in the area of enhancing the schedule, cost and/or quality management of our services.

Zangrilli joined Urban in 2001 after working for a number of industrial building and construction firms. His work at Urban has involved construction management for many of PennDOT’s key construction projects in central Pennsylvania.

Co-workers Brian Guillaume, Benjamin Leach, Brian Peda and Dennis Reichard nominated Zangrilli.

Leach noted that, “Mr. Zangrilli truly embodies the sense of formulating excellence. He helps everyone around him, solves conflicts before they arise and works countless hours making sure everything runs smoothly.”

Reichard stated, “There are no problems too large for him to want to take on, it’s as if he can’t wait getting started solving the next problem needing to be solved. Mr. Zangrilli is always a pleasure to be around and he deserves to be nominated for and to win the Outstanding Performance Award.”

Zangrilli will receive a plaque, dinner for two, and a permanent posting of his name on the master plaque outside of the executive area in the Philadelphia Office.
