Tuesday April 6th marked the return of the American Red Cross Bloodmobile to Urban Engineers’ headquarters office.

Twenty-one Urbanites rolled up their sleeves to help patients in need of blood across the Delaware Valley. According to the Red Cross, one pint of blood can help save as many as three lives.

Annie Prewitt of Urban’s Human Resources Department, said that the blood drive was successful and helped the Red Cross achieve its goals.

In addition to blood donations, Urban’s employees participate in numerous community events each year. Other community activities include Food Drives, “Toys for Tots,” the United Cerebral Palsy of Philadelphia & Vicinity Corporate Run/Walk, and the Future City Competition for seventh and eighth grade students interested in the engineering profession.
