Urban Named One of the Best in New York

Urban Engineers of New York, P.C. (Urban of NY), was selected as one of the 40 Best Companies to Work for in New York for 2010, the New York State Society for Human Resources Management and Best Companies Group announced recently.

An affiliate of Urban Engineers, Inc., Urban of NY finished in the Top 25 Small/Medium category, which is for companies with 15-249 employees. The award was determined in a two-part process involving employee surveys and reviewing the firm’s policies, practices, systems, and demographics.

The award identifies, recognizes, and honors the best places of employment in New York, benefiting the state’s economy, workforce, and businesses. An official awards dinner will be held in April.

Urban Engineers, Inc. recently placed 9th among large companies in Pennsylvania, in that state’s Best Places to Work competition.
