Urban Scores in Philly's Top Workplaces

Urban Engineers was ranked No. 13 among midsize companies (150 to 500 employees in the region) in the Philadelphia Inquirer, Daily News, and Philly.com list of Top Workplaces 2010.

The sponsors, through WorkplaceDynamics, invited more than 1,500 companies in the Philadelphia region with at least 50 employees to participate. Ultimately, employees in 170 companies employing over 131,000 people were asked to rate their companies and leaders.

More than 61,000 people received surveys and over 34,000 responded. The result was a list of the top 100 workplaces, including the 25 highest ranked large employers, 35 midsize firms, and 40 small companies.

Employees ranked Urban highly in these categories:

• Strong values and ethics
• Formal training provided
• Feeling genuinely appreciated
