Urban Engineers, Inc. (Urban) was recently awarded a contract to perform environmental permitting and related services for the construction of a 6,500-foot pipeline to collect gas from Marcellus Shale wells located north of Tunkhannock, PA.

Urban is part of a multi-disciplinary team of firms led by AMO Environmental Decisions, Inc. (AMO) of Danboro, PA, an earth and environmental resource management consulting company. Urban will prepare a permit application package covering the areas of disturbance along the pipeline for the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection, addressing site specific Best Management Practices that are consistent with the terrain characteristics and stream quality values along the route.
