Cindy O’Dell, as Interim Corporate Development Director, brings over 30 years of experience to the many aspects of sales, marketing, communications, and proposals that comprise Urban’s corporate development team. For perspective, Cindy has worked in the business development space since proposals were created on paper with typewriters, and media marketing was purchasing advertisements in the newspaper.

Cindy is an international proposal and technical writing manager who utilizes emotional intelligence and radical candor to lead cross-cultural teams to success. She focuses on AEC for infrastructure, building teams in a remote/hybrid world, and mentoring proposal practitioners and technical SMEs on proposal industry standards. A current goal is to involve all teammates in Kaizen, focusing on 1% daily growth for operations and processes.

Cindy is a 2024 APMP Proposal Mentor, a supporter of the arts and literature, and a chef volunteer at a local soup kitchen.
